07 Mar UETR congratulates Delta Park and On Turtle La Jonquera as Truck Parkings of the year 2024
UETR as part of the Jury together with other private and public stakeholders congratulates Delta Park and On Turtle La Jonquera being awarded Truck Parkings of the year 2024.
The ceremony of the ESPORG Excellence in Truck Parking Award took place at the European Parliament on the 6th of March.
“Safe and Secure parking areas are key ensure decent working conditions, safety and security, particularly when drivers and haulers are engaged in long-haul goods transport. We need to make the profession attractive again, the overarching opportunity here is for the EU real economy and society to be able to rely on hauliers and drivers and their capacity to supply in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. “ said UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia.
