UETR intervened in the panel on road transport and safety on 9 July at Luci Sul Lavoro in Montepulciano (Tuscany), the event becoming the premier national gathering for European and national social partners and government addressing employment and job market issues. At the workshop key topics like the state of play on the Mobility Package, employment, training and road safety in the EU road transport market were discussed with businesses, trade unions and government representatives: cooperation among all partners is key for a fair, competitive and safe haulage sector.
