UETR was at the ESPORG European Conference on Safe and Secure Truck Parkings on 7 November in Brussels.UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia intervened in the panel discussion providing the haulers’ perspective and how UETR wishes to see secure truck parking progress.We have to address the lack of adequate, safe and secure parking areas for trucks in the EU. A clear ecosystem and strategy must be implemented. Digitalisation, EU funding, alignment and involvement of all transport players are key to achieve this objective for a fair and competitive road transport sector in the EU, now and in the future.More information available here.
