08 Apr UETR welcomes the adoption of standards for parking areas by the EU Commission
UETR welcomes the adoption by the European Commission of new standards and procedures to support the development of safe and secure parking areas in the EU.
“”This is a step forward – we always supported the introduction of EU harmonised standards as a key instrument to the development of well equipped, safe and secure areas. They are essential infrastructure to increase the quality and working conditions of road transport entrepreneurs and drivers moving goods to the benefit of real economy and society” said UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia.
