44 European transport associations member of the “More EU Budget for Transport” Campaign handed over to DG MOVE Director General Mrs. Magda Kopczyńska the declaration on the importance of transport sector for Europe and the need for more EU funding  in the context of the review of the Multi-Annual Financial Framework.

The ceremony took place in Brussels on the 4th of April 2024 at the Connecting Europe Days, Europe’s mobility flagship event.

Increasing the EU financial instruments like the CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) is key to contribute to enhancing the role of transport as an enabler of economic growth and job creation in an efficient and sustainable manner.

UETR as campaign member renew its call for for support for a sustainable, efficient and stronger transport in the EU for the next years.
