UETR appreciates the European Commission’s efforts to reduce emissions in road transport, with climate and competitiveness goals going hand by hand.

UETR appreciates the new Clean Mobility Package presented today by the European Commission to reduce CO2 emissions by 2030.
UETR welcomes driving innovation and investment in clean vehicles. New technologies and alternative fuels can play the great role to fight against climate change.
To this aim, the financial support for the development alternative fuel infrastructures throughout the Union is vey much welcome, also for transport companies.
“The network is key to achieve energy transition. Obviously, investments in alternative fuel filling stations must go in parallel with the existence of a sufficient number of vehicles using that type of fuel as a propellant” said UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia.
