UETR Manifesto for 2019 Elections
The European elections will be held between 23 and 26 May 2019, with 350 million EU citizens having their chance to elect the members of the European Parliament.
As the European organisation representing more than 200.000 Micro, Small and Medium road transport companies, UETR stands for a EU legal framework ensuring a balance between free movement of transport services, social protection, equal treatment and fair competition for operators.
New and complex challenges arise. At the same time, contradictions and inconsistencies exist in the EU road haulage market that are still unresolved.
With its own Manifesto UETR wants to present its proposals for the European Parliament and the European Commission of the next five years, setting out what we believe is necessary to address the new and old challenges, for an integrated road transport Internal Market. Together.
