10 Nov France’s transport association OTRE joins UETR growing community
OTRE is the French employers’ organization of micro, small and medium companies of road freight and passenger transport, removal companies, transport of cash and valuables, ambulance transportation and logistics. It brings together more than 3,000 companies with around 75,000 employees.
OTRE President Alexis Gibergues said: “Our membership in UETR is excellent news. We share the same DNA: road transport SMEs. There is now a lot of work to do and we will do our utmost to provide our contribution to UETR”.
“We welcome OTRE as new member. The enlargement of UETR shows that its impact is growing rapidly. We will continue to focus on the defence of Micro, Small and Medium Sized haulers in Europe. There are many challenges to face: COVID 19 pandemic and recovery, shortage of drivers, transition toward zero emissions, competitiveness and social dimension. With a bigger UETR family now” said UETR President Julio Villaescusa.
