11 Oct European Parliament’s conference on social rules in road transport
22 March 2011 – UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia has intervened in the conference on “Social Rules in Road Transport” jointly organized today by MEPs Mrs. Ranner and Mr. van Dalen at the European Parliament in Brussels.
After the conference, UETR has been one of the signing parties on behalf of UEAPME Transport Forum of a Memorandum of Understanding together with Mrs. Ranner and Mr. van Dalen as well as representatives of the other stakeholders involved (ETSC, CORTE, IRU and Marius van der Valk and Alexander Klacska, representatives of Small Transport Companies Netherlands and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber).
The document has been handed over to the representative of the European Commission, Mr Zoltan Kazatsay, Deputy Director General at DG MOVE.
