15 Oct EP Plenary rejects Mobility Package
On 4 July the MEPs rejected the amendments to the social and markets aspects of the “Mobility Package” (the AMs were tabled after the mandate to negotiate was rejected) and referred them back to the Transport Committee for reconsideration.
Sensitive files are driving times and rest periods, cabotage and posting of drivers. UETR is closely following up this sensitive discussion and hopes that a swift and balanced decision will be taken, to the benefit of small haulers and road transport market as a whole.
