20 Nov UETR Board exchanges with ITF on Safe Rates in transport
At its Board of Directors meeting held in Brussels on the 19th of November 2024, UETR members exchanged with the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) on safe rates with the common objective of ensuring fair prices in road transport sector.
Unfair competition and predatory pricing practices resulting in cheap transport are not acceptable affecting quality, competition, health and safety of the work performed by operators and drivers.
UETR will engage to get transparency in the supply chain and “safe rates” to contribute to a healthy and sustainable transport ecosystem. and foster a mutually beneficial relationship between road hauliers and customers.
