UETR General Assembly elects Claudio Riva as Vice-President and defines priorities for 2026

The UETR General Assembly, held on the 29th of January 2026, unanimously appointed Claudio Riva as Vice-President and confirmed Desirée Paseiro (Fenadismer) as Treasurer. Mr Riva, National President of Confartigianato Trasporti (Italy), will serve on the UETR Board alongside President Alexis Gibergues (OTRE- France), under the coordination of Secretary General Marco Digioia.

During the meeting, the GA agreed on organisational plan and priorities, outlining the key issues that will remain at the core of UETR’s agenda in the coming months. These include minimum cost rules and persistently low road freight rates; subcontracting and intermediation; digitalisation; and the Automotive Package, with particular attention to emissions and the EU proposal on Clean Corporate fleets.
